The next time you visit Frisco’s Grill and Pub in Cuba, Missouri, you might be surprised to find a new feature at the restaurant. The owner, Jimmy West, commissioned another project to Missouri Metal Art. This time it involved the dining room. When you pull into the parking lot you can’t miss the train that comes out of the front of the building. It is a full-size, front view replica of an original Frisco’s steam engine, complete with a brush guard bench. It makes for a perfect photo opportunity. Continue into the front door and to your left you will see the caboose!
As you enter the dining room, you can not miss the new project. Now you can have your meal sitting in a train dining car! The ornate wood features, the rounded ceiling with the intricate detail, and the new tables and benches make the experience of eating in a train dining car complete. The added bonus is the tv screens that give you the real life feel of looking out the train window while enjoying your meal.
If you have never eaten at Frisco’s I have to ask…. WHY NOT?? Their specialty is their wings but everyone has their favorites! Mine is the Chicken Bruschetta Pasta. It’s a special so it isn’t always on the menu but that’s what I order when they serve it, I am there! You can always check out their Facebook page to see the special of the day. Not only that, Frisco’s offers a monthly themed menu!
Jimmy’s desserts always top off the meal so make sure you make room for it! They don’t disappoint. Oh, and make sure you “yank that chain” when you leave so you can let him know how much you loved your meal!
Frisco’s Grill and Pub is open Tuesday – Sunday and they now are serving breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. I have heard the Maple French Toast platter is worth the morning trip! Enjoy your meal and let them know Go To Blu sent you!
